Surgical (google income) Practice Marketing: Three Tools to Improve Patient Flow
By S.B. Pathak
Surgical practice marketing is, some might say, nearly as important as surgical skill itself. This is because the success of a surgical practice is measured not only by the skill of its staff and what the practice can offer, but also by how many people turn to that practice for care. And, of course, patients cant seek out a surgical center for care if they dont know it exists.
Effective surgical practice marketing combines professional acumen with an understanding of patients wants and needs when they are looking for a health care provider. Marketing and medical expertise are two vastly different beasts, and they dont seem to be very easily joined. But, particularly for rapidly growing fields like weight loss surgery and plastic surgery, staying ahead of the pack is a necessity in todays competitive environment.
How can a surgical practice market itself well? Here are three strategies for getting the word out and improving patient flow:
Partner with Other Practices. Ironically, one method of surgical practice marketing is to maintain a solid rapport with competing doctors. While this approach may seem counterintuitive, having a network of colleagues can show one surgeon what works and doesnt work by offering him several examples other surgeons. It is also true that competing doctors often wind up sharing referrals.
Keep in Touch with Patients. When it comes to patients, the best form of communication is the kind everyone can relate to. This, often, isnt the medical-speak in the world of doctors. Instead, surgeons can relate to their patient base using a friendly, conversational tone on their websites and newsletters. Some doctors also write medical articles and launch them online; this can give potential patients a free overview of their condition or problem, and position the surgeon as an expert in the field.
Show Them Your Work. A picture is worth a thousand words so the saying goes and when it comes to various surgical procedures, using pictures as part of your marketing strategy can make a world of difference. Weight loss surgery candidates and people considering plastic surgery are especially keen on the before and after angle, and being able to answer their questions or present them images of other success stories are excellent hooks.
Host an Educational Seminar. Another outreach method involves going to where the crowds are or drawing a crowd yourself. Bariatric surgical practices, in particular, should consider offering free seminars for prospective patients to learn about the different kinds of weight loss surgery procedures, and the risks and benefits involved. Hosting an informational meeting gives the audience important surgical information at no cost, and question-and-answer exchanges that satisfy can generate future patient flow. Surgical practice representatives can also use community events, like charity forums, to accomplish the same goal.
When it comes to surgical practice marketing, finding innovative ways to connect with patients whether online, in person, or even through other practitioners can have a tremendous impact on the success of a practice. Working with a consulting firm that specializes in medical marketing can help ensure that marketing dollars are spent wisely, and that the practice gets the best return on investment for its promotional efforts.
Innovative surgical practice marketing strategies, including educational seminars and patient newsletters, can generate immediate patient flow and long-term referrals for doctors. Eliminate Silly Sacred Viewpoint On Riches
By Jose Anajero
One of the biggest monsters that keep on us poverty-stricken is that we actually don’t want to be plentiful. And we don’t want to be well-to-do because we’ve got crazy, insane holy idea about finances.
Religious idea are deeply rooted and you’re not attentive of it.
Am not advocating that all of us should be plentiful. Or our worth is defined by our income. Mother Teresa had no returns and yet she was of the most influential people in modern history. But because of her work for the poorest of the impoverished, she spent $40 million a year. Her department was favored by enormously prosperous people helping her. How could she have done her unbelievable job if there were no charitable people around her?
Friends, I’m against the thought that people who do want to become well-off are automatically judged as morally young and require of deliverance from the nasty spirits.
It’s all a matter of reason.
Read carefully…
riches isn’t the most principal thing in the world.
But money affects every important thing in the world.
It affects your family life.
If affects your physical life.
It influences your intellectual life.
It affects your spiritual life.
It influences you ability to help others.
We need money. And wealth, if used by the book, can bless the world.
There are many insane sacred idea but foremost of which is the belief that the well-off won’t enter bliss..
“Again, I tell you it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a well-to-do man to enter the kingdom of God” - Matthew 19:24.
The passage mentioned is often qouted as corroboration that heaven isn’t for well-to-do people.
I’ve got two challenges with that.
First of all, they don’t read the two verses right after that passage…
“When the disciples heard this, they were exceedingly surprised and asked, “Who then can be saved? Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is not possible, but with God all are viable”. - Matthew 19:25-26.
Christ didn’t say, “It’s unfeasible for affluent people to enter bliss”. He simply said, “It’s going to be extra grueling for the well-off person to enter paradise.” Why is this? Because Christ says that to whom much is entrusted, much more will be required (Luke 12:48).
Here’s my second point: Don’t take the “came through an eye of a needle” literally. The picture is absurd, no wonder people feel it’s not possible.
But when Jesus said, “camel through the eye of a needle”, ancient Jews would have instantly understood what He was referring to. The “eye of a needle” was a ordinary expression for a door of a camel’s abode.
Eliminate foolish sacred beliefs.
